Worden Tax Firm was formed by Bill Worden to help individuals and businesses with all of their tax and accounting needs after working for local and regional accounting firms and serving in various accounting and financial executive roles for many years. Bill Worden
Bill Worden is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified in Financial Management (CFM), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Project Management Professional (PMP). He is the owner of Worden Tax Firm and primarily works in the area of taxation and small business consultation.
Bill grew up in Albuquerque and received his Bachelors of Business Administration (Accounting) and Masters of Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of New Mexico. His career started in Public Accounting where he worked for large regional firms focused in income taxes for individuals and businesses. He was also very active in business consulting for his clients, helping them with their financial needs. He then moved into industry where he held executive level positions in accounting and finances. He worked in the areas of food distribution, construction, overseas manufacturing and distribution, broadcasting/television, and government. Bill has over 35 years of helping individuals and businesses with their tax and accounting needs.
Bill was on the City of Albuquerque’s Internal Audit Committee for several years, serving under two Mayors. He has been active with Quality New Mexico as an examiner and applicant and has been involved in three award recognition awards during his career. He was a frequent guest on Performance USA Radio Show and also shared his knowledge as a guest on KOAT’s evening news. Bill has also been engaged with various professional accounting organizations in various capacities and was an accounting instructor at Central Community College of New Mexico for several years.
